• Industrial Design The BM301 has a cast iron upper drill assembly and worktable. The cast iron has vibration damping properties to ensure optimal drilling quality and promotes machine longevity. The unit is mounted to a fabricated steel base for proper operation height.
  • Pneumatic Clamp The workpiece is held firmly in place by pneumatic clamp which is actuated from a foot pedal. When the foot pedal is pressed the pneumatic clamp will come down and the drill will then cycle. There is a clear plastic safety guard around the clamp to ensure the operators hands are free from the clamp.
  • Adjustable Stop A simple adjustable stop is configured on the side of the table for repeatable drilling operations. It can be easily rotated and stored when not required and can be positioned on either the right or left side of the table
  • Miter Gauge Equipped with a sliding miter gauge for angle drilling operations. The gauge fits in a T-slot on the cast iron table and can be easily removed when not in use.
  • Linear Guide Rails and Adjustable Stroke The boring heads moves on round cylindrical guides for smooth and accurate movement. The guide rails are covered with rubber bellows to ensure a dust free environment. The drilling depth can be adjusted with a convenient knob.
  • Powerful Direct Drive Boring Head The drilling head is powered by a powerful 2HP direct drive motor.
  • Foot Pedal Actuation The clamping and drilling cycle is actuated by a convenient foot pedal which leaves the operators hands free to locate the workpiece.
  • Two Spindle Adjustable Boring Head The unique two spindle adjustable drilling head allows the operator to quickly set the center spacing of the drills from 0.71”~3.93” centers. A scale is provided to ensure accurate positioning of each spindle. It is equipped with a grease nipple which can be easily accessed for periodic greasing to ensure a long working life.
  • Boring Bits The boring bits are threaded and rotate against the threading to ensure they do not slip during deep boring operations. The bits can be purchased in various sizes as shown below in the options section of this proposal
