  • Dual dust ports and belt tracking knob Equipped with two dust ports for when two operators are sanding on the machine. The end dust cap can be removed for performing curved work on the rubber idle roller
  • End table with the hood removed for curve sanding The end dust cap can be removed for performing sanding on curve pieces. When the cap is removed, the dust port remains and can be removed if necessary for tighter curved pieces.
  • Table adjustment handwheel on front and rear tables Front and rear tables can be adjusted manually up and down to utilize the sanding belt fully.
  • Belt tensioning knob allows for quick belt changes The sanding belt can be removed quickly and easily for fast belt changes. The tensioning knob with spring-loaded tension ensures the belt is fastened securely. There is a belt tracking knob to ensure the belt tracks properly on the drums.
  • Steel sanding platen covered with anti-friction graphite pad The sanding plate is a machined steel plate that is covered in graphite to provide a stable and friction-free surface to work from.
  • Powerful 7.5HP sanding motor with oscillating gearbox The belt is driven by a powerful 7.5HP motor tied into an oscillating gearbox to oscillate the belt back and forth by 0.472" (12mm).
  • End table height and tilt adjustment. Can tilt from 0 – 45 degrees The end table can be manually adjusted in height for full utilization of the sanding belt. In addition, it can be manually tilted from 0-45 degrees.

    The Cantek OES509D Heavy Duty Oscillating Edge Sander is the ideal edge sander for demanding applications for production use. Equipped with a 9" high oscillating sanding belt, it is perfect for sanding drawer boxes, doors, furniture components and more. The OES509D is also equipped with dual front and rear tables that are adjustable up & down and can be tilted to 45 degrees, allowing for a wide range of applications and full utilization of the sanding belt. The dual tables also allow two operators to be working on the machine simultaneously, made possible by the powerful 7.5 HP sanding motor. The adjustable and tiltable end table allows for sanding of curved components on the idle pulley. The belt oscillated up and down, which helps keep it cool while also producing an optimum sanded finish.
