The table is made from cast iron and is precision ground and polished. The two side fences are also made of cast iron and can be adjusted in order to minimum the gab in relaation to the angle being cut
  • Manual Locking to Set Blade at Any Angle In addition to the set cutting angles the saw can be set manually at any desired angle with this locking knob.
  • Adjustable Clamping and Cutting Speed Flow control valves can adjust the clamping and cutting speed for optimum finishing results according to your material and desired cut.

  • Liftable Safety Enclosure Liftable safety guard ensures safe operation of the machine while providing for convenient access to the saw unit for adjusting the blade angle. A cabinet light illuminates the saw area to allow the operator to easily see inside during cutting operations. The liftable door has a safety interlock switch which renders the saw unusable when the cover is lifted. An additional interlock switch is also located on the front access panel for added safety
  • Optional Dual Push Button Control Dual push-button control is available in lieu of the foot pedal. The saw will only cycle when both push-buttons are pressed simultaneously.
  • Powerful 7.5 HP Motor & Pneumatic Cylinder The sawblade is driven by a powerful 7 ½ HP motor and (3) v-belt drive. The saw & clamp is actuated by a single pneumatic cylinder.

    Large capacity miter chop saw is built for production.

    The Cantek PCM508 20″ Miter Chop Saw is a precision pneumatic cut off saw designed for cutting miters up to 60° in either direction. The saw is automatically cycled pneumatically and activated by a foot switch to allow for fast positioning of the workpiece. Capable of production cutting with up to 40 cuts per minute. The cutting speed is adjustable to ensure the optimum finish result on your workpiece no matter the species or size. The rotary table runs on ball bearings to ensure effortless rotation of the blade according to the desired cutting angle. The workpiece is clamped pneumatically, and the clamping guard runs on linear guideways for smooth and fast clamping operation. The PCM508 is available with optional infeed and outfeed conveyor systems with manual stops or can be fitted with an automatic stop system such as Tigerstop for added productivity.
